If you want to understand that the economic theory of socialism simply doesn't work, you don't need to look back to the bad old days of the Soviet Union. My Indigenous family members through my brother's marriage to a woman from the Grovant tribe from MT, have strong feelings about all of these issues. They still struggle with discrimination, and profiling in northern MN. Thanks for writing this.
